QB Check

QB Check is a computer based continuous performance test assessment tool for 6 – 60 year old’s. It measures the core symptoms associated with ADHD including hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattention/distractibility. It is built on the well-documented and tested technology of QbTest, with over 250 000 patients tested so far and produces reliable data that can contribute to the diagnosis of ADHD. It can also be used to monitor the patient’s response to medication.

During the test, the patient is asked to respond as quickly and accurately as possible to a series of geometric shapes appearing on the computer screen by pressing the space bar on the keyboard. A webcam tracks the patient’s movement during the assessment. After the test, the result is instantly analysed and compared to the result of two groups of people of the same age and gender as the test person, one with and one without ADHD.

We carry out a QB Check as part of all of our children’s ADHD assessments but we also offer individual QB Checks which are produced with a written report.

Please note that the QB check alone does not provide a diagnosis of ADHD.
