We charge according to the type of assessment or appointment you require.
A written report is produced following all assessments. Additional charges are payable for the writing of medical reports and letters which are requested in addition to this.
Emails relating to medical matters that require time to read or respond to will also attract a fee.

By using the services provided by the Oxford ADHD & Autism Centre, you agree to our charging policies, consultation charges, and terms and conditions of business.
All fees must be settled at the time of consultation. Assessments must be paid in advance of the assessment date. We ask for a payment of 50% of your bill at the time of booking your assessment appointment and the remainder will be payable on or prior to your assessment date. We accept credit/debit cards (in clinic), BAC’s transfers, cheques and cash. We are unable to accept American Express.
Regrettably, we are no longer able to accept referrals from healthcare companies for psychiatry services, due to their refusal to cover the full cost of psychiatry consultation / follow up services, and they will not allow patients the option to cover the shortfall themselves. For psychiatry services, we will accept referrals on a self funded basis only.
If you wish to use medical insurance for other services, please arrange for a guarantee of full payment to be sent to the practice prior to your appointment. If we do not receive a guarantee of payment, responsibility for the fee falls to the patient. You may then claim back from your insurer at a later date.
Patients with outstanding accounts are only seen at the clinician’s discretion.
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for the cancellation of appointments. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a charge of 50% of the total fee. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or if you do not attend your appointment, the full fee will be payable. Cancellation of Monday appointments must be given by 12pm on the Thursday before.

Statement of Purpose
The clinic is a specialist independent clinic in Oxford for children and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related conditions.
All patients of Oxford ADHD & Autism Centre must register before they are able to use the services provided by the Centre.
Fees and Payment
We charge on the basis of time spent or are likely to spend in dealing with care. This may include time spent considering and researching matters, making and receiving telephone calls, as well as responding to emails and issuing letters. Further treatment will only be offered at the discretion of the clinic for any patients who have outstanding accounts.

Telephone consultations are subject to a charge of £30 per 15 minute increment.

We have thorough standards in the maintenance of confidentiality.
