Dr Parveen Chand

Dr Parveen Chand is an experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist also working in Community CAMHS as a Consultant in the NHS.

She has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of neurodevelopmental conditions including ASD, ADHD and tic disorders and co-morbid mental health conditions. She also specialises in the diagnosis and management of adolescent depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and OCD.

She has previously worked as a Psychiatrist in India and Saudi Arabia and has a keen interest in cultural influences in psychiatry. She uses a holistic and biopsychosocial approach in the management of mental health conditions. Dr Chand is a Consultant Teaching Fellow and Clinical supervisor for medical students and core trainees in psychiatry.

Dr Chand is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and Tamil.
