Dr Saurabh Saxena

Dr Saurabh Saxena MBBS, MRCPsych, DCP is a General Adult Psychiatry Consultant, who also specialises in Old Age Psychiatry and has an endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry. He is currently working as a Community Psychiatrist and has a good working experience of the Inpatient setting as well. He has worked in the NHS for nearly 20 years.

He is proficient in managing complex mental health conditions including Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis, Bipolar, OCD, PTSD. He has a special interest in the assessment, diagnosis and management of Neurodiverse conditions like Autism and ADHD.

Dr Saxena conducts in-depth reviews, is a good listener and has an empathic yet thoroughly professional attitude. Colleagues consider him to have a consistently good clinical judgement, including in challenging assessments. He is passionate about health promotion and illness prevention; he takes a holistic approach and formulates comprehensive bio-psycho-social management plans.
